Summary
Summary
Daniel saves the life of a Princess, but her father Pyrus is unimpressed and SG-1 are forced to work in the planet's Naquadah mine.
Pyrus killed the Goa'uld that ruled his planet, but they still mine the Naquadah and send it through the Stargate so they do not attract any attention from the other System Lords. He has prolonged his life by the use of a sarcophagus.
A rock fall in the mine, badly injures Daniel and his wounds are treated using the sarcophagus. As friendship with the Princess Shyla depends, so does his reliance on the addictive properties of the Sarcophagus.
While Daniel lives in luxury the other members of SG-1 struggle to survive in the mine.
Daniel agrees to marry Shyla, if SG-1 are freed; he will return to the SGC and get help to mine the Naquadah and defend against the Goa'uld. Shyla lets them go.
Back at the SGC, Daniel begins to go through massive cold turkey withdrawal, can Jack save him before he does something foolish?
