Summary
Summary
On BP6 3Q1 Teal'c is stung by a giant insect. The infection begins to change his DNA to that of the insect. Sam brings in a specialist, Dr. Richard Harlow but they are unable to effect a cure without a sample of the venom. SG-1 must return to the planet to get some.
Colonel Maybourne also has an interest in the insects and using his connections arranges that Teal'c is taken away for study. On route Teal'c removes his symbiote and escapes from the truck. He hides out in the city, befriending a young girl.
The race is on to find Teal'c and stop the metamorphosis into the insect, which would then be able to infect the whole planet.
Janet and Sam must also find a way to keep junior alive, so he can be returned safely to Teal'c's pouch.
