Summary
Summary
While Jack and Sam go to Washington for a commendation, Daniel and Teal'c go to Abydos as Daniel had promised Kasuf he would return in a year. He is shocked to find Sha're there and heavily pregnant. She is carrying Apophis' child and the Goa'uld symbiote is dormant.
In Washington Jack meets a reporter who seems to know a lot about the Stargate project, the Colonel gives nothing away.
Meanwhile Sam's father Jacob has news of his own, he has been diagnosed with cancer.
The medal ceremony is cancelled after the reporter is killed in a car accident.
Meanwhile on Abydos the arrival of Heru'ur reawakens Sha're's Goa'uld and she goes into labour ; Daniel delivers the baby.
Daniel and Teal'c must hide the baby from both system lords and avoid capture, however, they have have an unexpected ally.
Back at the SGC, General Hammond performs the medal ceremony.
