• Had a theory no one believed and was ridiculed by the establishment
• Was approached by a mysterious woman
• His Parents are dead
• His granddad also had a weird theory no one believed
• He speaks many languages, including the long lost ones.
• He changed the writing on a black board
• Travel made him throw up
• He was teased by his companions
• He befriended the local king's daughter
• Only he could read the lost writings
• The daughter showed him a mural with the story of the civilisation
• He solved the mystery
• At the end he stayed behind with the King's daughter

Sounds like Danny to me! :-)
