Bitterfeld Hydro GP 2014

First day was stopped because of strong wind. Only F-125 succeeded to run time trial.

Second day was also disturbed by constantly changing wind speed and direction. It was tried to change course etc and finally we succeeded to run all planned heats.

F-125 was triumph of italians - they got three first positions. Manuel Zambelli, three times class UIM World Champion, won finally first European Champion title.

F-250 - three rounds, three different winners. In Bitterfeld winner was Peter Bodor. Wayne Turner's propeller failed at second heat and he was second, but got second UIM European Champion title in the row. Unfortunately medals not arrived to Bitterfeld.

F-350, which is not Hydro GP class was won by local driver René Behncke. He flipped over in the first heat, but luckily the moment after red flag situation. He is three times UIM World Champion in this class, but European title after three rounds was first for him.

F-500 had most thrilling race with sinking of Anton Rosenleitner in situation, where Giuseppe Rossi was leader. In restart Rossi failed start up engine, but two second positions in next two heats gave to him finally third position in Bitterfeld. Race was won By Marian Jung, who is leader also in overall before last round. Erko Aabrams was two time third, but stopped second heat and got in Bitterfeld fourth position. Second was Attila Havas.
