No-Be-Bo-Sco STEM Star Wars Comp-o-ree May 4-6th

Post date: Mar 12, 2018 9:05:04 PM

What better way to celebrate Star Wars day (May the 4th be with you!) than to spend it at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco earning various STEM related merit badges, and allowing our younger scouts to get a preview of all the summer Camp fun No-Be has to offer archery & riffle/shotgun ranges will be open! The cost per Scout/Adult is $30ea for food & camp activity. Please check out the agenda below for the weekend - Don't miss out reserve your spot below!

May the 4th Be With You Weekend

FRYday Night Special – Using a Dutch oven, fry up as many things (must be fit for consumption)

as you can think of. We’ll provide the cooking equipment and a limited amount of food will be

available, for example Pigs in the Blanket, etc. Batter will be available delicacies like deep fried

Oreos you may want to bring. Please free to bring something you would like to fry and try. Hint –

Since this is a STEM Camporee scientific items are always appropriate. Twinkies are a scientific

marvel with limited nutritional value that seem to never decompose. If you bring Twinkies to fry

expect a real treat! (…and as Luke discovered on Tatooine – if you freeze them before frying it’s

even better!)

Special MOVIE (think light sabers…)
