Glen Rock 9/11 Memorial Service

A Scout is Helpful - Troop 27 will be assisting at the 15^th anniversary 9-11 Memorial on Sunday, September 11, 2016. We have been asked to appear at veterans Park in Glen rock on Main Street at 6 PM to assist in handing out candles and small flags to all attendees. We will also be assisting in the candle lighting. We ask that all scouts who are able to attend please be dressed in Class A uniform attire. Since many of you were too young to have a personal recollection of this tragedy you might want to Google this event and while extremely upsetting it will provide you with a better understanding of why we continue to honor those who lost their lives as a result of senseless terrorism.
