Delaware Canoe/Island Camping Trip 9/23-9/25

Troop 27 will be hosting a high adventure canoeing overnight trip on the Delaware River. Our first campout of the year will be island camping on the Delaware River. We will be camping Friday night at Camp No-Be-Bosco. Saturday morning we will drive over to the outfitter, Chamberlain Canoes. We will be canoeing from the Bushkill Access to the Kittatinny Access and overnighting Saturday on Tocks or Labar Island. Sunday we will paddle out and then drive home. Total distance will be approximately 16 miles. We will be meeting at the Troop room at 5PM Friday 9/23 and should return around 1-2PM on Sunday 9/25.
Cost should be $60 per person payable below, and the cost of food is FREE (registered Scout's food cost will be reimbursed by the Troop). Payment can be made below.
Attached are the Boy Scout permission slip and the liability wavier from the outfitter. A permission slip is needed for every Scout and the liability wavier must be signed by everyone going on the trip, Scout or adult.
Payment and signed permission slips and liability forms will all be due at our Troop meeting on 9/18. Permission slips can also be scanned and emailed to me at martylynch08@aol.com.
If paying online and/or submitting permission slips by email, please pay and submit by 8PM on Sunday 9/18 so we can provide the outfitter with an exact headcount.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you plan on attending so we can make a reservation with a full headcount.
