Key Requirements and Benefits of The Workshop
“Low Power Systems Design using Texas Instruments MSP430" in association with Texas Instruments & EdGate Technologies Pvt. Ltd- TI India University Programme Partner
The MSP430 Low Power Systems Design Workshop focuses on understanding the mixed signal processing capabilities of 16-bit MSP430 microcontrollers from Texas Instruments. It involves extensive hands-on session featuring the-
§ Operation of MSP430 at different low power modes,
§ Utilizing the 10 bit SAR ADC to sense analog inputs,
§ Configuration of TIMER module for time- keeping application and
§ Communication interfaces to exchange your data with other systems.
§ Internet Of Things with MSP430
The session takes you into the world of mixed signal low power systems design, and offers an invaluable insight into how an ultra low power system can be designed, which is very crucial from the perspective of battery powered applications. Keeping in mind that IOT brings about excitement in everyone, the workshop includes a session which features demonstration of IOT based application using MSP430 microcontrollers, and truly offers an introductory glimpse on both the analog and digital aspects of IOT systems.
Key Benefits for the Students:
The workshop is purely hands on based: Almost every lecture and section of the workshop leads directly to a hands-on laboratory assignment. The more practice you get using the “real world” Texas Instruments hardware and software the more proficient you will be.
The workshop does not waste your time: From the very beginning, we jump right in to your first hands on assignment that prepares you for live projects – Let’s Get Started.
The workshop is packed with information. From the beginnings of the C programming language to advanced microcontroller peripherals, the course teaches you all of the building blocks you would need to build your own electronic systems.
The workshop use lots and lots of examples: We take you step-by-step through the lessons – each time providing sample code and documentation to make sure you are supported through the course.
Why we organize the workshop here: We are educators with a singular focus of providing a meaningful experience for our students. And, while we cannot do the work for you, we are willing to work with you help you succeed.
