A dedicated [NPTEL Local Chapter] is established on July 6, 2016 at Dr.B.C.Roy Engineering College, Durgapur in the collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. NPTEL is a joint initiative of the IITs and IISc. Through this initiative, they offer Online Courses and Certification in various topics.
Online course: Free for all, Certification exam: For a nominal fee.

The enrollment period for courses that start on 23 January is being extended and enrollment will close on 30 January 2017 at 5pm.
Courses that begin on 20 February will have enrollments open till 20 February 5pm.
