About Me

I am serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College affiliated by AICTE and Under the WBUT (a State University) in West Bengal, India. I completed my  Ph.D in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University in January, 2014, under the supervision of Dr. Swagatam Das. Subsequently, I had a brief post doctoral assignment at Indian Statistical Institute, April-December, 2013. I was born and brought up in the city of Bankura, a small town in West Bengal, India. I graduated from Burdwan University 2004, with a B. E in Electronics and Communication Engineering. In September 2005, I joined the Junior Research Associates program in the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department at Jadavpur University, Under the Supervision of Prof. Amit Konar, funded by an UGC Fellowship and Completed my Masters Program in June, 2008. After that I joined as a Senior Research Assistant in CSIR-CMERI (An Electromechanical Product Development Industry). I am also a external expert in Aerosystem Lab of CSIR-CMERI from 2011.

I love to  Industrial Research and try to do research with teaching, as per  my own  interest and  potential.

My research interest include Cyber Physical System, IoT, VLSI, Robotics, Embedded System, Mechatronics, Intelligent System Design and Optimisation, Signal Processing.

I am mostly inclined with to do Consumer Electronics and Product based Research.
