Advanced Traffic Enforcement for the Patrol Officer Seminar
Overview
This two-day course will focus on all aspects of highway safety and traffic enforcement. The reduction of traffic crashes and fatalities begins by developing a highway safety culture. This curriculum will provide police officers a better understanding of the larger science behind roadway safety, including the 4-E's of highway safety.
The increased enforcement of speed laws, seatbelt usage, and impaired drivers has an effect on highway safety and in many cases leads to the detection of a more serious criminal offense. A firm understanding of the transportation article and its proper application to highway safety will assist the patrol officer’s enforcement efforts.
