July/August 2013--

I attended and presented work at two conferences: the Animal Behavior Society (ABS) annual conference in Boulder, CO, and the International Ethological Conference (IEC) in Newcastle, England. At ABS, I presented a poster with results from a study of association networks of degus (Octodon degus) (see Publications), which was done in collaboration with Robbie Burger, Luis Ebensperger, and Loren Hayes. At IEC, I presented a talk on the role of social connections in female reproduction in plural breeding rodents, citing work from marmots and degus.
