Guest Editors: Dr Tina Wey(tina.wey@gmail.com), Dr Karen Mabry(kmabry@nmsu.edu).

Deadline for manuscript submission: Nov. 10, 2014.
This special column will be published in the second issue of 2015.
Dispersal is a fundamental component of animal ecology and evolution, and the effects of individual behavioral variation and social factors on dispersal processes represent an especially exciting area of current research. The goal of this special issue is to advance our understanding of multiple factors influencing dispersal ecology. We welcome submissions examining the effects of individual variation, social environment, and the integration of both on dispersal.
A title should be sent to the guest editors. You may send your manuscript now or by the deadline. Manuscripts should be submitted to the special column via CURRENT ZOOLOGY webpage at http://www.currentzoology.org, or via ScholarOne Manuscripts http://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/currentzoology. Manuscripts received after the deadline will be considered as submissions for regular issues.
Submitted papers should not have been published previously, nor will be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they are subject to peer review and editorial revision. Contributors are free of page charges.
