On the Ferry to Santander

M & L - Great dinner on the boat. We had a table right by window at back. Hors d'oeuvre buffet one of the best we have come across. Very relaxed atmosphere on boat

Highlights of voyage were the morning walk around the deck when we saw 2 dolphins, very grey with a bulge on the nose (apparently they were probably Risso's Dolphins) and when about 1 hour away from Santander, we spotted a sperm whale only about 20 metres away. The wildlife guide was almost more excited than we were.

Overnight in a hotel in Suances. We wandered down to the sea front and spent an hour in bar eating fish tapas and watching the Spanish watching Real Madrid beat Bayern Munich. Great fun!
