An organised group of warriors, fighting to ensure that civilians can expect stability in their life. Members tracks down and kill those who threaten peace as well as maintaining a very visible presence to deter those types of people.
Key characteristics: Dedicated, uncompromising, and political.
Fighters, Paladins, Sorcerors and martial Rogues are generally attracted to the Crotalan.
Covert force for Good.
A scattered network of agitators and spies who advocate equality and oppose the abuse of power.
Key characteristics: Benevolent, knowledgeable, and secretive.
Often accused (usually correctly) of meddling.
Bards and wizards of good alignments are commonly drawn to the Harpers.
Overt militant force for Good.
An organised group of faithful and vigilant seekers of justice who protect others from the depredations of evildoers.
Key characteristics: Honorable, vigilant, and zealous.
Low activity in the East.
Clerics, monks, and paladins of good (and often lawful good) alignments are commonly drawn to the Order of the Gauntlet.
Covert force for Power.
The Thieves' Guild of the city of Telflamn, in Thesk. Active throughout most of Thesk and Aglarond, and somewhat active in other countries in the region.
Pretty much anything the Zhentarim would do in Northern and Western Faerun, the Shadow-masters do in The East.
Key characteristics: Ambitious, opportunistic, and meritorious.
Anyone seeking power is drawn to the Shadowmasters.
