Goodle Play has a program that allows you to perform calculations on ANDROID devices.
You can download the program here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myproj.slshalko.calculation_oil_quality
Below are the "screenshots" software module used to calculate the viscosity of the mixture of basic mineral or other oils with viscosity modifiers.
The software module allows to predict the viscosity of the finished oil at 100 and 40 deg. Celsius, after mixing a predetermined amount of base oil with an amount of a viscosity modifier.
Starting form a box with four (or in some cases, five) data entry fields, two fields of computing and display the results is as follows.
Button for calculation is in the inactive position. To get started, you must fill out the text fields on the initial data base oil. It is also necessary to specify the number of used base oils and modifier in mass units.
Used for the viscosity modifier is an important indicator of the thickening factor, whose value must be entered in the appropriate field of the form submitted by the software module.
IMPORTANT: Some manufacturers modifiers passports indicate the quality indicator "thickening ability." For example - 10% increases the viscosity modifier 12 cSt (mm2 / s).
In the present software module uses a different value.
Filling in this field coefficient thickening has three options - laboratory known or accepted - why use the corresponding three action buttons.
To begin, consider the "default?". After pressing this button will appear in the corresponding field value of 0.035 units, which would be in 90 cases out of 100 currently available viscosity modifiers.
After filling in all fields becomes active button "Calculate".
Pressing the specified command button calculates the viscosity of the finished oil. In this example, mix 95 (m. Or kg. Or d) a base oil of 5 (ie. Either lbs. Or d) a viscosity modifier. The calculation result is placed in the appropriate fields. Number of base oil and thickener can be anything.
If you know other thickening coefficient different from the value of "default", you can press the corresponding command button "value?" enable the ability to edit the field "thickening factor."
Field becomes active, that is, it can enter any positive value.
Pressing the command button "Calculate" calculates the finished oil with viscosity coefficient inscribed thickening.
Note: Use this option only in cases where you are completely sure of the value of the coefficient.
Changing the values in the appropriate fields and clicking on the command "Calculate" button, you can get a whole range of calculation results.
Use the command "Clear" button resets all fields is made with the data, and then the program module is ready for new calculations.
Use the command button "Exit" cessation of work performed with the software module and the form is closed.
In the present form of a software module, consider the last command button to determine?
After clicking it will have an additional form below. This form allows you to determine the actual rate of thickening by laboratory methods. This addition will be useful in the following cases:
- Available viscosity modifiers of unknown origin;
- Viscosity modifiers were stored for a long time;
- You have to prepare the powdered polymer modifiers, solid state by dissolving them;
- Chemical industry started production of new types of viscosity modifiers.
In all these cases to the industrial use of viscosity modifiers must be a precise definition of the coefficient of thickening.
In the present form of additional software module contains fields for data input. However, the data must be obtained by appropriate laboratory tests according to ISO-3104-94.
After filling in all the fields on the form is activated command button "Calculate"
Pressing the specified command button calculated coefficient obtained thickening and placing the result in the corresponding field. At the same time become active command buttons "Yes", "No" allows you to store the result and repeat the calculation for the new source data in this session.
If you click the command button "Yes" button "Calculate" button becomes inactive and you can change any of the original data. The result of the program will remember the "thickening ratio" is reset.
After making these data, which are obtained after laboratory tests, the command "Calculate" button again become active and allows to make the following calculation.
After clicking the command button "Calculate" the following result is recorded in the appropriate field.
By pressing the command button "Yes" can produce a large number of repetitions with the memorization program all the results. Remember, the more tests, and hence the calculations will be done, the more accurate the value of the coefficient of thickening.
Later on after pressing a command button "No" command button is activated, "Averaging".
After you specify the command button, all the results that have been stored in the session program of work will be averaged and calculated the average value will be recorded in the appropriate field "thickening factor." When this becomes the active command button "Yes" in the "Transfer the result to the main program."
After pressing the button, the average value obtained in the form of the results of laboratory tests, will be automatically transferred and recorded in the basic form of a software module, which can be used to perform basic calculations for the production of marketable products. In this case, the auxiliary form for laboratory tests will be closed automatically.
The command "Clear" button in the form of a laboratory test is intended to reset all of the data in the appropriate fields, as well as cleaning the internal memory of the software module in this session and allows you to start a new one.
Use the command button "Exit" is made with a form of work stoppage, in consequence of which it is closed and ceases active basic form of a software module.
