Goodle Play has a program that allows you to perform calculations on ANDROID devices.
You can download the program here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myproj.slshalko.calculation_oil_quality
Below are the "screenshots" software module is used to determine the base number (TBN) of engine oil when cooking, depending on the quality indicators and oil additives (basic or intermediate product). Qualitative indicators can be determined by laboratory testing or quality certificates.
At the beginning of the specified software module will be launched starting form
This form is divided into four regions based on their functions and allows the calculation of two "directions".
1. Direction - Define how many tons of additives to produce finished oil with the required base number:
a) in the area of the field "Initial data on the additive" to enter information on the composition of the additive;
b) in "Initial data on prefabricated" indicates the number of oil (in tonnes), which is expected to be mixed with the additive. At the same time, if the oil is - is substandard oil, you should specify the value of its "total base number" directly affects the amount of additives in the product oil.
c) in the "Required data of the finished product" in the appropriate field "TBN ..." indicate the importance that we want to get in the product oil.
d) after all the operations described above click "Calculate";
As a result, in the "data on the additive in the finished oil" appears in the relevant field of the calculation result, namely the amount of additive (in tonnes) required to produce a finished product with the desired base number.
Also automatically calculate the value of the total amount of the finished product (in tonnes) and displayed the percentage of additives and feed oil (in%).
e) you can change the source data for the calculation of the "direction";
In particular, in the modified form shown below amount of tons of the semifinished product and the base number, the percentage of additive Ca and desired TBN in the finished product.
After making changes click "Calculate" and get a new result.
To change the direction of the calculation press the "Clear", resulting in the original form is received.
2. Direction - the definition of the base number of the final product by using a certain amount of additives with known levels of quality when it is mixed with half-finished:
a) as before, in "Initial data on the additive" fill the field of available information on the additive. There is also in the "Data on the additive in the finished oil" specifies the initial number of tons of additives;
b) in "Initial data on prefabricated" indicates the number of tons of oil, which is planned to be mixed with the additive. At the same time, if the oil is - is substandard oil, you should specify the value of its "total base number", which directly affects the base number in the finished product;
c) after all the operations described above click "Calculate".
As a result, in the "Data required finished product" in the appropriate box will appear the result of calculations, namely the value of the base number available after mixing additives and intermediates. There will also be filled with fields total number of tonnes of the finished product and the percentages additives and intermediates.
d) You can change the source data for the calculation of the "direction".
In particular, in the modified form provided below the base number of the number of semi-tones starting and additives. Click "Calculate" and get a new result.
I would especially like to draw the attention of users on the "Coefficient" in the "Data on the additive in the finished oil." As a rule, the vast majority of the value of this field must be left to "1". But it should be noted that, in reality, some additives actual results do not match with the calculated values. In practice, this ratio is in the range from 0.8 to 1.2.
If you need a very high accuracy of calculation of the base number, be practically determine the value of this coefficient for each type of additives used in the production of oils.
The following form holds change of this ratio and a new value "base number" in the finished product.
Remember! This software module allows you to use a mathematical model to calculate the value of the base number, but does not replace direct laboratory tests.
