Baranagar Swami Vivekananda Work Circle has started a new project ‘Book Bank’ as a part of the outreach programme under department of ‘VIDYARTHI SEVA PRAKALPA’, since 17th August of 2016 by Most Revered Srimat Swami Prabhanandaji Maharaj, Vice President of RAMAKRISHNA MATH & RAMAKRISHNA MISSION, BELUR MATH. The books are distributed to the needy students coming from different educational institutions.

•  The students recommended from head of the educational institutions or selected by our Sevak Members come to Organisation or we go to his /her location and collect/distribute the books according to their requirements in the classes. Along with the books, exercise note books and pens are also distributed to the students.

•   The books are issued from Organisation for one year i.e., till the end of an academic session in that particular institution. After the session ends, the students will return the books to Work Circle and may collect a new set of books. The returned books again will be issued to the new students for the new session. We expect that one set of books will cater to the need of minimum three different students for consecutive three years.
