Swimming

Swimming involves the self-propulsion of a person through water usually for the purpose of exercise, recreation, or sport. Swimming is consistently found to be among the top recreational activities favoured and undertaken by the public.

In addition to numerous private swimming pools in the town of Summerton, across Clarendon County, and in nearby Santee, many people also swim in nearby Lake Marion. However, you might want to keep a sharp lookout for alligators.
