All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), sometimes referred to as Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV), are generally a three or four wheeled vehicle that uses large, low-pressure tires. It normally has a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control, although some are now equipped to carry more than one person. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles.
