TAVO BOYD has been a choreogrpaher for 20 years and has been dancing since the age of five. His study of dance led him to win various national titles and dance competitions. His L.A. Agents Scholasrship landed him in Los Angeles where he continued his study of dance and worked with some of the world's greatest choreographers, teachers and dancers like Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, Mia Michaels, Wade Robeson, Jamie King and Ty Diorio. Tavo also studied under new choreographers like Brian Friedman, Bobby Newberry and Blake McGrath. His choreography credits include: The Rockford Lightening Cheerleaders (2000-2002), Mid West Hair Show (2000-2004) and Triton College's stage production of Miss Julie (2008). He is also a returning guest choreographer for the Oak Park River Forest High School Orchesis Program and for the Buffalo Grove High School Orchesis Program as well.
DANCE: CLASS SYNOPSIS
This summer I am teaching a Hip Hop/Pop dance style combination to the students, where they will showcase what they have learned at Parents Day on the 27th of June.
