1. Context analysis

The context analysis covers external and internal context of the organization. This analysis identifies performance, opportunities, risks, strengths and weaknesses of the organization.

The analysis covers all external factors that may affect directly or indirectly, positively or negatively the organization. These factors concern macroeconomics (cultural, political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal) and industry (markets, customers, suppliers, competitors).

The analysis of the internal context focuses on processes, resources, and intangibles factors (structure, leadership, culture, communications, etc.)
