Strategic Management Process

The strategic management process SMB is a continuous and systematic process during which organization executives make decisions that will have consequences in the future, develop plans and programs to implement decisions and achieve goals, and finally evaluate the performance.

The strategic management process is a unique opportunity to unify management, employees, stakeholders and customers in understanding where the organization stands and where it intends to go.

Throughout the process of strategic management, the organization must focus on needs (expressed and experienced) and expectations (expressed and unexpressed), customers (present and future), and stakeholders; the organization has to provide products and services that meet needs and expectations.

The strategic management process SMB includes five main steps :

1. Context analysis

2. Strategy planning

3. Strategy development

4. Strategy implementation

5. Strategy evaluation
