Anything as Art
The "theater" or performance space is the Fasebook Performance Project webpage. The "performers" are those who are active in the "theater" filling the space with artistic expression generated by the performers (poetry, video, photo galleries, links places) they would like to share with an "audience." The audience consists of visitors that come to this page to view the artistic expression in the virtual space.
Audience participation is encouraged & the admission is free.
See below for those who have signed up already!
The Project process entails:
Open call for submissions sent out
Artist uploading their art
Once the Theater has "filled" generate a program & define a performance period
Invite the audience
Have the Virtual Performance occur over the course of a year with people invited to comment on the work
During the period the work is in the virtual gallery arrange for participants to gather in real time/space and set a live performance date.
Gather to perform the work live. Prior to each performance each artist/or group will take down their virtual display and then perform it live.
If you want to get involved here are the steps to being a part of it.
THEATER SPACE
This Fasebook page constitutes the virtual theater space.

PUTTING YOUR WORK UP
I can either put it up for you or you can “hang” your own gallery by making you an “admin”
FAN
The word “fan” on the site is equivalent to “spectator/presenter.”
PERFORMANCE
The performance “period” hasn’t been defined yet
CULMINATION
I’d love for it to somehow end with people coming out of the “virtual” world into the “real” world to share their art together. It is a magical way to connect with people all over the world
