The SMT Improvisation and Music Theory Pedagogy Interest Groups warmly invite all to our joint meeting on Friday, Nov. 8, from 12:30–2 PM in River Terrace 3 at the Annual Meeting of the Society for Music Theory in November 2024 in Jacksonville, FL. Our joint meeting will feature seven 10-minute presentations on the topic “Improvisation in/as Pedagogy.” The program will be as follows:
