Thomas Hobday, a rate-payer, of Inkberrow, appeared to a summons for non-payment of poor’s rates, amounting to 5s, and an order was made for payment thereof, with costs. The defendant obstinately refusing to pay the amount (though able to do so), a distress warrant was issued for the same.
