Hi All

The forecast was pretty much spot on with light rain clearing by about 11.15am but the wind was maybe a little stronger than predicted at 16-19ms.

So we kicked off at around noon in sunshine. Mike was quickest in round 1 with a 37.44 closely followed by Mark with a 38.44, Ewan was next with a 43, then me, Kevin and Ian on 44, 45, 46 and Dave lost his model in the sun and scrubbed round 1 but flew round 2 OK.

Mark flew FTD in round 2 with a 35.22 followed by Kevin, Mike and me on 37’s. Mark and I were close in rounds 3 & 4 but Mike paid the price for taking the piss out of Ewan with some poor air, his worst couple of rounds of the day! Dave pulled out after round 2 with minor damage from landing #1.

And that’s pretty much how things went for 16 rounds with things pretty close between Mark, Mike and myself, with Mark having the edge for 12 rounds with Kevin next, then Ewan and Ian. Ian had a cracking 39.59 in round 8 and Ewan had 39.23 in round 12 but not his best day.

In the last 4 rounds, I got some decent air and Mark got some poor air to change things round and give me the lead. With flying 2 rounds up, this is pretty punishing / rewarding.

Lots of rounds in the sunshine and a stiff breeze to play with.

Someone managed to wipe the results from the computer (Mike ;0)) so I had to populate the spreadsheet manually, so used the Matt Brett one which isn’t the best for analysis and it’s a big file too. I attach a photo of the results too for info.

All the best
