Subject: Readers Advisory Information
One of our many great information resources in Reference is the Readers Advisory, which is actually in the AVL East library building (Go out the north door of the Reference Area, walk 20m, turn right, and enter the building. The Readers Advisory is on your left.) It is a wonderful way to help patrons who are looking for recommendations about books. Ambrose Anthony has very kindly produced an informative notecard that is a short guide to the collection, and I have just placed it in a vendor panel -- appropriately decorated with a pic of the Readers Advisory -- right over the card catalog in the ref area. Please take a copy next time you're in. Visit the Advisory too, if you aren't already familiar with it. It truly is a fine resource. Rolig
