Hello and welcome to the Second Life Library virtual Reference Wiki. We are a virtual world reference service sponsored by the Community Virtual Library in Second Life. This wiki is a handbook for the volunteers who staff the Library Reference Desk on Info International Island, in Second Life, to help them better serve the Second Life community.

The objectives of this wiki are:

• • Share and archive information created or collected by SLLVR staff to assist avatars visiting the Info Island reference desk.

  • Allow libraries who use SLLVR as a back up to their own in-world services to create mini help guides SLLVR staff can use when their patrons are referred to Info Island.
