Project Assesment
The output of U.G. project is a Model of Software/S-W of a chosen problem and Project Report
The project report demonstrate the scientific approach that you have followed to the solution of the chosen problem.
Your project report must be written in a methodical and professional manner, making due references to appropriate techniques, technologies and standards.
You should start the documentation process from the first step of problem selection to finding it's solution.
You should also record the progress of the project on your document/github from your project notebook, throughout the development process.
The project report should contain enough details to enable your juniors to extend your work.
Ethically your document must demonstrate a systematic understanding of following key contents:
Reason and facts of problem selection
Study of existing methods and various alternatives for chosen problem {Methodologies ,Developing documents of project in parallel with project development}
Importance of U.G. Project
A U.G. Project will allow you to apply the techniques you have been taught in various courses. It provides students with:
Opportunity to specialize in specific areas.
During placements employers/Interviewer will most likely ask you about your project
Opportunity to demonstrate a wide range of skills and knowledge learned
Encourages integration of knowledge gained in the current and previous semesters
Thew deliverable of Minor Project is project report to demonstrate your achievement in terms of:
Wider context of computing by relating your choice of the project
The approach you have taken to solve the problem
The study of existing products/research.
Application of the theoretical and practical techniques taught in the theory to solve the problem and relevance to the wider world of computing.
Capability of objectively criticizing your own work and making constructive suggestions for improvements or further work based on your experiences so far.
Demonstrating your thinking and working processes clearly and concisely to others through your project report.
