2022 Building a Gaming PC

For the first time, I built a gaming PC. Setting out I knew that this needed to be powerful to run the games and mods in the resolution and speed I desired. I used Newegg to buy parts to ensure all parts were compatible. I chose a Corsair case because of its great and easy-to-use design. I ended up getting Ryzen 7 AMD processor with a Nvidia RTX 3060. While not the absolute best, they work great together for little bottlenecks and still have great performance. This performance paired with a 2 TB SSD turned out great.

It was an interesting project because I bought all the different components, I didn't make any new parts from scratch like my other projects. While it was easy that no parts had to be created, the build had its frustrations. When I built the computer I had 2 sticks of 8 Gb for RAM. Recently I purchased two 16 GB RAM sticks and I kept having issues. I believe the new RAM sticks to be dead because no configuration and troubleshooting could fix the problem. In the end, the whole computer build was a good experience, It taught me how difficult troubleshooting "simple" issues can be.
