We say thanks for a healthy family (here and in Germany), busy kids, good music, and good food.
If you haven't read the books, do it NOW.
Then come back and see the movie.
And, please, get vaccinated.
Happy Birthday Helena!

And here is 2021! For January, you can find some more stories form the old year, which we didn't want to skip. January began like December, with work/school from home and a president not everyone agrees with.
Weihnachtsbäckerei
In the mountains. Not much snow in Boise so far. We came home with our Christmas tree.
Someone is playing with a new train set.
This is what church on Christmas looks like.
Ya, some people like this stuff.
Or they like playing Catan for hours.
Or they like spending a whole day in pajamas.
Or watching movies and eating gigantic tubs of popcorn.
Or not going outside all day, keeping curtains closed.
What is it with teenagers?
