Happy Thanksgiving, for all the food, health, and shared moments we have received!
At the festive table, or during the walk to the park in cold Boise.

One musician playing fit.
Recently, one afternoon...

A very unique experience for us. The area is fantastic, despite the lake being only 42% full.
And the kids can go swimming three times a day...
Grand Teton National Park.
Do you know what these are?
I have never seen so many in one spot. The wildflowers are amazing. And here we found a hummingbird on its nest.
This is Justus, the mule deer, browsing between our tents.
Cascade Canyon. Marmots, Pikas, Moose, Bears.
Joining us: Family from Germany.
Robins were born in the tree above our patio table.
Shortly thereafter camping again!
This is rattlesnake country, but instead of snakes we see his huge bullfrog, about 25cm long (ten inches). It's making noises like a beginning cello player, all night long.
Another business trip, school is out, summer is here!
Shortly thereafter Dad's business travel to Singapore, shortly thereafter the first camping trip of the season: A school outing to Bruneau Sand Dunes.
A great place to bike, not to forget the Observatory.
Hello, busy-ness!
The Easter weekend is rainy, shortly thereafter twin boys turn 10.
Shortly thereafter grandma, grandpa, and aunt arrive. Great family celebration.
This young woman is celebrating her First Communion.
Since winter happened back in November, we are now enjoying the sunshine and a greening city.
Great busy-ness is awaiting us in the next few months, which requires some planning for family visits, vacation and work trips.
Abraham is trying out daddy's new bike.
Helena presents her new creation. With seat belt.
Most evenings end with story reading, usually in Deutsch.
Sometimes somebody other than Daddy reads.
Mom has decided that we all need to eat healthier food.
No more sugar, no more processed food, until Easter.
She is cooking some good stuff though.
Welcome to January, with new adventures!
It is twenty degrees below freezing. In here, too.
