It seems like every month in my antique booth at Somewhere In Time Antiques in Lumberton, NC I am surprised by what is the best selling item. Last month it turns out that collector's guides for Boy Scout memorabilia were the #1 seller. I sold four books for between $20-$25. This kinda caught me off guard but luckily I had some more stock back in the office so I quickly reloaded the booth with some fresh titles. One of the successful sales was from my own Boy Scout Prices Realized Series so I stuck more copies in the booth including several different titles. Having purchased some collections over the years that had collecting books in them I had some more and I've got some of them pictured here that are currently for sale.
I've got both volumes of the book published by TSPA a few years back titled, "Scouting History Through Memorabilia; The Bernie Miller Collection".
This one is perfect for people who want a general Boy Scout memorabilia book with values. It was written by Jim Sayers and it's a copy of the rare hardback version that was put out in the early 1990s.
These books are just a few of the neat items I've got for sale in the antique booth. It's packed with Boy Scout stuff, Girl Scout memorabilia and just a tiny bit of Campfire Girls. Check this website for links to the directions and hours at Somewhere In Time Antiques.
