Factors influencing the participation of elementary school teachers in Quebec in professional development (PD) activities promoting professional learning and improving student learning outcomes
Marie-France is a PhD student in educational psychology at Laval University under the supervision of Christine Hamel and the co-supervision of Sandra Hamel. Her doctoral project is a continuation of her master project and aims at targeting the factors that drive teachers in Quebec elementary schools to participate in effective professional development activities, which are pillars for changing teaching practices and improving student learning. She is also a lecturer in practical training and a research assistant.
