JUNE 25

What a wonderful spring we have had ! The nice weather just continues and we're dang near in July ... Love it !!!!
With a cool morning starting @ 7:30 am a few of us started the days course set up doing some change ups on our typical positioning of targets.
As the group starts showing up we get more help and we're soon done with our 60 shot / 15 lanes of steel quarry placement.
LOL ... yea as mentioned every report that comes from the IONE Experience the light wind is blowing even before we get practice started ... It stays light tho kinda switchy keeping everyone on there guard in being aware which way & strength threw out the match.
Today at the time of Match getting going we have 22 shooters ready & willing to get after it .... So we do just that after a brief safety meeting.

As a Note of mention ... @ mid match it was announced that due to winds present, that after you took your two shots on a target ( For Score ) and having had trouble hitting said target ( Damn it ! ) You could take a few extra shots and play with HOLD OFF required to actually connect & knock the target down. It is in such conditions that one needs to LEARN that being safe & inside the KZ simply does not work in all situations & one must explore Shooting outside the KZ to knock em down.
As is becoming a trend ... our more experienced & wind savvy shooters are still by in large setting the top scores. The real stand out was WFTF PCP with those 3 really switching it up for the days reckoning of man against steel. Another our fearless MD chose to shoot an FT pistol on the rifle course today.

The crew quickly picked up all the targets, stacked the bricks in piles to be picked up from the field. Bricks went onto the trailer & over to the storage area, targets came back to the covered shooting area & received LOTS of fresh paint ... Lol This PAINT & STORE targets on site is really working well & want to THANK all those who stayed around to do this.
We're all wrapped up by @ 1:30

After we are all done about 8-9 stay after to just screw around and shoot other air guns. This continued to @ 4:00 pm with those present continuing to laugh and have a good time.

UNTIL NEXT MONTH where the SVFTC once again converges at the Sacramento Shooting Centers Range #9 on July 23rd .... Stay well, practice until we do it again !!!
