Meet Our Reptiles

By far the majority of our reptiles have been rescued - peoples' pets they no longer want or cannot keep - but very occasionally we have bought animals that demonstrate specific adaptions or qualities that we could not otherwise show in our educational work.

We regard them as our pets rather than working animals and, although they carry out educational duties at shows and demonstrations, we only bring out reptiles that we believe are happy to "meet the public".

We have a variety of snakes (most of whom are named after either gemstones or chocolate bars) and lizards, as well as occasional millipedes and stick insects. We do not own or demonstrate spiders.
