Our Handlers

Lucas grew up in South Wales, where he spent much of his youth in the countryside, learning about the environment, woodcraft and wildlife. He has always liked animals and, more importantly, many animals seem to like him. His other great interests are motorbikes, cars and motor-sports. Luc is a member of the British Herpetologial Society.Photo courtesy of AKPhotos.

Emma is from Sussex and comes from a farming background. She grew up with an appreciation of wildlife, and has loved exotic animals ever since her primary school brought in a reptile handler for a visit!

Jane is a southerner with Welsh roots. She can strongly sympathise with reptile phobics as, until around 2009, she would not contemplate holding or even touching lizards or snakes. All that has changed! She works full-time in medical research, but helps out with weekend/holiday demonstrations, and also raises funds through sales of crocheted octopuses, dragons, and other creatures.
