Felicitation of ‘Raghavendra Anvekar’ winner of National Sports Award

It was Felicitation of ‘Raghavendra Anvekar’ for winning National Sports Award for Best Sportsman with Disability for the year 2014 at the auspicious hands of honorable President His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukharjee. He is also honored with EKLAVYA AWARD at the auspicious hands of H. R. Bharadwaj Governor of Karnataka in the year 2010 Total Medal Tally International Medals: 5 Gold, 12 Silver and 11 Bronze Medals National Medals: 46 Gold, 3 Silver and 5 Bronze Medals It was proud moment for our Club. Raghavendra is trained by his Guru Umesh Kalghatagi at the swimming club which is run by Rotary Club of Belgaum, Goaves. His Guru (Dronacharya) Mr. Umesh Kalghatagi was also felicitated during the function.
