THIS INDENTURE, made the Second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-six BETWEEN Isaac G. Robinson and Catherine his wife of West Troy, in the County of Albany of the first part and Reynolds Greenman of the same place of the second part WITNESSETH that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirteen dollars current money of the United States to them in here paid, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, released, enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release, enfeoff and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever ALL that certain West half or meiety of all that certain place or parcel of land situate lying and being in West Troy, known and distinguished on the map of the same made by William Roberts Junr. And bearing date the seventh day of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight and filed in the office of the Clerk of the County of Albany as Lot. No. One hundred and nine Ohio Street, which west hereby intended to be conveyed is bounded as follows, vis: on the west by Ohio Street on the south by Auburn Street on the east by a line drawn through the centre of said lot parallel with the east & west boundary lines thereof and on the north by lot No. one hundred and eleven being forty five feet wide and sixty feet deep subject nevertheless to the payment of the annual rent, of Seven dollars & fifty cents to Richard P. Hart, his heirs and assigns (it being half the rent, of fifteen dollars reserved on the whole lot and subject to all the covenants, conditions, reservations and agreements contained in the original lease of whole lot from Richard P. Hart to George Dan and Reeluf Sebring TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above bargained premises to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sale and only proper use, benefit and behoof of the second part his heirs and assigns forever PROVIDED ALWAYS and these presents are upon this express condition that if the said Isaac G. Robinson his heirs, executers, administrators or assigns shall and will well and truly pay to the said Reynolds Greenman his heirs executers, administrators or assigns, the sum of one hundred and thirteen dollars within five years from the date hereof with interest annually at six per cent according to the condition of a certain bond or writing obligatory bearing even date herewith executed by the said Isaac G. Robinson to the said party of the second part, as a collateral security, then these presents and the said bond or writing obligatory shall cease and be null and void, but in case of the nonpayment of the said sum of one hundred & thirteen dollars with the interest thereon, or any part thereof, at the above limited for the payment thereof, then and in such case it shall and may be lawful for the said party of the second part, his heirs, executers, administrators and assigns, to grant, bargain, sell, release and convey the said premises or any part or parts thereof with the appurtenances at public auction or vendue and on such sale or sales to make and execute to to the purchaser or purchasers his or their heirs and assigns forever, good ample and sufficient deeds of conveyance in the law pursuant to the statute in that case made and provided, rendering the surplus moneys (if any there be) to the said parties of the first part, their heirs, executers, administrators or assigns, after deducting the costs and charges of such vendue and sale as aforesaid, and the principal and interest of the said sum of one hundred & thirteen dollars IN WITNESS WHERE OF the parties of the first part have here unto set their hands and sale the day and year first above written.

STATE OF NEW YORK, RENSSELAER COUNTY ss. On the 3rd day of March 1836, Isaac G. Robinson & Katharine his wife to me known to be the individuals described in and who executed the within Mortgage personally appeared before me & severally acknowledged the due execution thereof for the uses & purposes therein mentioned and the said Katharine on a private examination apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed the same freely & without any fear or compulsion of her said husband.
