LC440 Sky Crane is the 'workhorse' in the LC series

- Very realistic and smooth keyboard flight script. Maybee best in SL!

- SHIFT+LEFT/RIGHT (cyclic) lets you move your heli sidewards (not in mouselook!)

- Switchable crosswinds and turbulences (you're  getting airsick...)

- 2 seats, dynamic cam for guest

- working crane let you lift whatever you want ! (Objects can have up to 31 prims; They have to be editable for you to be able to ass  the needed script in it )

- Example Load

- Load Script (copyable); So you can make your own stuff to lift

- Firefighter water bag let you take water from sea and drop anywhere on a fire!

- 52 prims in 2 parts with auto attach/detach

Main Hud includes:

    Gasoline fuel > say 'refuel' in chat before fuel is empty

    Altitude / Real Altitude > say 'alt' in chat

    Speed

    Compass

    Artificial horizon

    5 Cam settings (lock, follow, dynamic close, dynamic wide, off)

    Throttle / Multi info display

Crane HUD:

    Show you: Hook height above ground, rope lenght, crane/load status

    Activate/deactivate crane and load

    Change rope length  in 0.5m increments

    Release water from firefighter load

    additional cam setting (top view) > toggle on overwrite flight hud cam temporay

Instruction Manual:

- Rezz the "LC440 Sky Crane v1.0" . Heli rezz the attachement part automaticly. You will be asked to give  permission to attach. klick answer YES.

- Wear the HUD(s) !

- After sit in, the LC440 gives you short helplist:

> 'START' / 'STOP' for the engine

> 'D' for doors

> 'L' for position lights

> 'A' toggle autopitch > Heli try hold level with collective/pitch

> 'ALT' switch between level above sea and real altitude above ground

> 'T' toggles turbulences and crosswinds ON/OFF, default setting is ON!!!

> 'REFUEL' if gasoline empty (make sure you wear the HUD)

To see the commands again type: 'help' in public chat

Take off:

- Start the engine (takes 7 seconds)

- Add pitch (collective) to 51% > heli beginns to rise...    (50% pitch is neutral hovering without movement in any direction)

- Touch FWD (Cyclic) DO NOT HOLD FWD BUTTON! > Heli takes nose down and get fwd-speed but loses altitude. pitch up to compensate this...

   Watch your speed and altitude...

- SHIFT+LEFT/RIGHT lets you move your heli sideways  (not in mouselook!)

  HInt: 55-65% pitch for a smooth forward flight... while you hold flight level with cyclic

- (Beginners should start by  choosin autopitch, so you can see how pitch have to co-operate with cyclic steering/ tilt from chopper)

The Crane

Rezz the "LC440 LOAD EXAMPLE" on the  ground.

OR make your own: Just put the "LC440 LOAD" script in the root prim from your object.

OR add the "LC440 LOAD PRIM" as the rootprim to your own object.

> Be realistic: A smal helicopter like the LC440 can't lift a tank or something really heavy. But maybee your smal car? A part from the rooftop? A smal boat out from the sea? A rescue belt with sit script in?

> You can rezz how many as you like. But never activate more than one!

OR rezz the firefighter load in case of a fire occur in your sim

New in version 1.2 Update: The trigger button on crane HUD send on chat channel -4422002 the string 'trigger'. you can use this in your own reciver script)

How to use:

Bring your LC440 over the deactivated load at any altitude. Rope can be maximum 75 meters! 

HINT: To see heli and ground use TOP CAM setting in the crane-hud. Watch your height! Autopitch can help now...

Touch the load one time to activate it > The particle rope will start and your heli and the load are connected but not active

Make sure you still  hover the load! If not, try to bring your heli back over the load > TOP CAM still helps

Touch the Hook button on the crane hud > now your load is definitly activatted and 'hanging' under your LC440

Add 1-2% pitch to lift your load from ground (make sure you turn off autopitch) OR touch the up/down buttons in the crane hud to make the rope shorter or longer

Congratulation: You flying  now a fantastic looking sl-vehicle combination in the air!!

The Firefighter Water Bag:

To get at the hook same handling like other crane stuff...

fly over water... go down.. bring the bag under water..... wait until he say 'Water Bag full'

fly over fire... touch water drop button (right button on the crane hud) to release water

fly over water.. go down... .... ... .. .. .. 

Note:

After get out from LC4400 he will automaticly detach the att part from you and rezzing a new one in world (if rezzing is alowed on the parcel you are in) . Grant  permissions again...
