Version 3.0
The blimp is little bit heavier then the air around. But the shape works like a airfoil and the blimp have no weight if airspeed is more then 3.0m/s. If your airspeed is less 3m/s the blimp lose slowly height. Use that behavior for the last meters while landing the Blimp.
The rudders working also proportional to airspeed. This means: While slow flight the rudders gives your blimp just a smal steering effect. If your airspeed gets faster the rudders have full effect. Best speed-steering relation is about 70-80% throttle.
Your Blimp can land and float on water. To take off from water add throttle up to 40% and take the nose up.
There is no HUD in version 3.0! Hover text shows you all important information's while flight
Wind simulation:
Version 3.0 has a extreme realistic wind simulation. In the notecard 'blimp settings' you can change the wind settings. The wind setting means sea level. Higher you climb stronger the wind will be. (100m = +1m/s)
Open the card; edit the first line; safe back.
example: <0.5, -0.5, 0.0> = wind from north/east with 1m/s at sea level. No wind: <0.0,0.0,0.0>
Notes about fly with wind simulation:
- While heading into wind your groundspeed will be slower. So, what's happened if you fly with or cross to the wind?
- The blimp does move sideways and rotate into wind if u have crosswinds and slow airspeed.
- After reezing turn the blimp into wind (+-30°) before you sit in or he will be rotate into wind because the big surface the rudders have
- Start and landing have to be flown heading into wind. How much crosswind you can handle depending on your flight skills!
Steering:
E/C for throttle
WASD or the arrow keys for the rudders
Chat commands are:
's' start/stop the engines
't' ties down the blimp at his position
'c' toggles dynamic camera on/off
'a' toggles auto level flight. > The blimp try to keep pitch angle +0.5°
'banner KEY' set a new texture on the side pannels*
*KEY is the UUID from a 512*256 pixel texture; What is UUID? plz read the LSL Wiki

- Locate the texture in your Inventory
- Rightklick and choose 'copy UUID'
- Say in chat 'banner[space]' and paste the key (
- Enter
Example: 'banner 9b5f20ac-01f9-e6b4-aa7e-0826d6edd935' set the default texture
