We do our best work when we host hands-on activities to educate our community about the wise use of our renewable outdoor resources, and our commitment to promoting the recreation activities those resources provide.
With that goal in mind, we partner with other outdoor focused organizations to host multiple events, leveraging the use of our natural facilities and our limited support staff.
Our new friends from Conestoga Valley!
In partnership with the Susquehannock Fly Fishers, we have hosted fishing for the IU13 life skills students in each of the six Lebanon County school districts. In 2022, we also included the IU-13 students in the Conestoga Valley School District!
Since 2015, we have hosted an annual fishing camp for the Lititz Cub Scout Pack 142.
For six weeks each spring, we have worked with the Lebanon County Federation of Sportsmen to host veterans fishing for the residents of the Lebanon VA Center. The Federation's member clubs took turns staffing the events, and providing assistance, fellowship, and victuals to those who have served our country in uniform.
We end our year with our annual youth pheasant hunt for Lancaster County Youth Field Day participants.
