Meetings
According to our by laws, there are three types of meetings defined: Regular meetings, Board meetings, and Special meetings.
Regular meetings are open to the general membership, to review the decisions voted on by the Board of Directors. Board meetings are to be held by the governing body at least quarterly, as scheduled by the Board Chairman. We simplify this process by combining both meetings monthly. These meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month on Chapter grounds, unless advance notice is presented to the general membership of any changes to this schedule.
Special meetings may be called at any time by the Chapter President, but only with the concurrence of the Board Chair and the Chapter Secretary. Advance notice of the date, time, and agenda must be provided to the general membership, with meeting minutes to be presented at the next Regular meeting. The minutes listed below cover our combined Board/Regular meetings.
