The competition will be held at 4pm on 19 May 2011.

The competition is open to all interested schools in the region who can field one team in any or all divisions (per library in the case in multi-library schools) in each of the following divisions.

Junior - Year 3, 4 & 5 / Grade 2, 3 & 4

Middle - Year 5, 6, 7 & 8 / Grade 4, 5, 6 & 7

Senior - Year 8+ / Grade 7+

Register on this form by 10 April.

Teams may cancel their registration no later than a week before.

After 12 May teams will be required to pay the registration fee whether or not they attend.

Readers Cup - 2011. Registration Form

The competition will consist of three rounds - Junior, Middle, and Senior. The junior & middle round (30 mins. each) has 5 questions from 5 books from their division and 5 questions from a picture book. The senior team will have a selection of 4 books from the senior division with 7 questions on each book.

The junior & middle teams are made up of a maximum of 6 students, the senior team has a maximum of 4 students. The total time of the event will be approximately 2 hours, allowing for introductions, audience trivia and judging.

Registration is $60 per team (payable to ISLN on or before the day) to cover cups, medals, prizes, participation certificates, gifts for judges, refreshments.

10 sample questions per book, to assist with in-house competitions and preparation will be released on 20 March.
