Duck Rabbit

Author: Amy Krouse Rosenthal

Duck! Rabbit!

Is it a duck or a rabbit? While the reader sees the words of the two characters talking, the characters themselves are not shown - just the duck (or rabbit, depending on your perspective). The simple and strong illustrations, which are mostly in ink and watercolor, very cleverly demonstrate why there’s confusion about whether it’s a rabbit or a duck.
