POTA at Eisenhower State Park
The weather conditions were great and band conditions were pretty good for the 1/2 dozen operators who showed up to activate Eisenhower State Park on Lake Texoma under the club's K5RKW call sign. The CW, SSB, and Digital modes were all utilized on bands 30m through 10. Unfortunately the QSOs were not the activity the hams saw that day, chiggers were also trying to make contact with the intrepid amateurs. They did persevere and get the park activated.
