Fox Hunt, April 11, 2026

The threat of rain did not dampen the spirit of competition a fox hunt can bring out in hams. On April 11 one of the largest gathering of competitors in RARC Fox Hunt history vied to see who could find the fox first. Our fox, David KJ5MDY positioned himself in the parking garage of one of the highest locations (above sea level) in Rockwall. Besides being smart and choosing a location that would shelter him from any in-climate weather, the concrete and rebar of the parking garage did none of the hunters any favors. Jake W5TXX found the fox first and has earned all bragging rights till the next fox hunt.
