Logarithmic detector used for AGC signal source voltage – Log detector after roofing filter + I.F. amp.
Log detector to provide real value signal input – uV, dBm, “S” values @ 50ohm terminal impedance.
All mode Narrow Band Analogue voice.
Digital HF Rx.
Data modes Rx (RTTY, CW, Fax, SSTV (BW + Colour), PSK31).
Final stage I.F. ”I/Q” detector used for RX signal demodulation plus noise reduction.
Final stage I.F. “I/Q” RF + audio output connection for SDR ext. o/p user interface for experiments.
Mains AC supply or use a +12Volt to +14Volt DC operation.
Control function interface
Full colour display control monitor panel – remote display addition for eye sight loss aid.
Button control panel illuminated with LED LIGHTING SOURCE.
Full Ethernet remote control and voice Rx relay over Ethernet.
Remote control software to work with Windows, Apple Mac, Linux and Android Tablets.
USB memory of HDD recording of RX signal plus system setup on Memory stick USB2 and USB3
8ohm at 10watt RMS audio + external connection for external speaker.
RCA Stereo connector for Hi-Fi amplifier connection.
3.5mm stereo headphone connector.
Wireless printer connection for printer out of digital data modes.
Addition purchasable ATU units:
Auto ATU for Rx using noise bridge matching sensor as signal source – Rx frequency relay from Rx set
Auto ATU output to include unbalanced and balanced feeding antenna connection
Auto ATU output to work with step up or step down 4:1 or 9:1 balums
ATU capable of switching antenna uses.
The noise bridge could be placed within the Marconi RX set, the RF BPF providing the RF pre-tuning and the RX unit the audio noise null signal source. The Noise bridge impedance values can be provided as a +/- voltage or DTMF tones data relay to signify the required inductance or capacitance at the ATU unit end.
